Behavioral Health Therapist

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour


Job description:

Families Plus is a well-established nonprofit behavioral health clinic that has served Delta and Montrose Counties for over 25 years. Our mission is to empower children facing challenges to grow into healthy, productive adults by providing comprehensive behavioral health services.
Families Plus is an innovative organization, and we are currently seeking a compassionate, licensed (or license-eligible) Behavioral Health Therapist (LCSW, LPC, or LPCC) to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact in a supportive and dynamic environment.


What You’ll Do
As a therapist at Families Plus, you’ll work directly with adults, children, adolescents, and their families to provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive mental health services. You will:
  • Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy
  • Collaborate with a team of therapists, parent partners, and case managers in a wraparound model of care
  • Use evidence-based practices to support youth experiencing adversity, including those involved with child welfare, schools, or juvenile justice
  • Document treatment plans and progress notes in a timely and compliant manner
  • Engage with the community and partner organizations to ensure clients receive whole-person care​

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field
  • Active Colorado license (LCSW or LPC) or LPCC
  • Experience with children, adolescents, and families preferred
  • Passion for working with underserved populations in a rural setting.
